Paper Etiquette Tips for Printing Your Own Party

Cupcake Toppers Print directly on white paper or card stock. Then cut each tag out or using a 2 1/2" punch. This is the one that I use (EK Success Tools Punch, Circle, 2.5-Inch) It's great because you can see where the circle is positioned with each punch. Uncut sticker stock: You can print circle designs onto sticker stock and then punch out each circle with a craft punch. Uncut sticker stock is sold as full-sheet (8.5"x11") shipping labels. (Avery Sticker Project Paper, White, 8.5 x 11 Inches)
Water Bottle Labels My water bottle labels are sized at 7.5" x 1.5". This fits most standard water bottles, but please check yours ahead of time to be sure they'll fit. I normally print these on normal white paper. I trim them and use a glue stick or tape to attach them to the bottles. With this method you CANNOT put them in a bucket of ice because the ink will likely bleed . . . but if you went to all of the trouble to make custom water bottle labels, why would you want to hide them in a bucket?! So ... label them, refrigerate them and pull them out shortly before the party. I haven't had trouble with the colors bleeding, but that would depend on your specific printer ink. A trick is to take clear packaging tape and put that on the outside of the label to make it mostly waterproof. Another method is to leave them at room temperature and to offer cups and ice. Invitations There are two ways to print invitations: Print on paper: Print your invitations two-to-a-sheet onto 8.5"x11" heavy white card stock or photo paper and cut each card out. You can print on your home printer or take your file to a store such as FedEx/ Kinkos, Staples, OfficeMax, and Office Depot. Develop as a photo: Send your file to any photo lab such as Walgreens, Target, or Sam's Club, and have it developed as a 5"x7" photograph. Whether you develop as a photo or print on paper is really just a matter of personal preference - some people like the glossiness of a photo, and other people like the feel of paper.
You will need to purchase your own envelopes if you are not printing through me.
